Back in Louisiana!

We are slowly, but surely settling in. Autumn is enjoying being closer to her grandma and I'm enjoying spending lots of time enjoying each milestone. Every single day is a new adventure as she shows us something new. Thanksgiving was great. We visited family in Lake Charles and took it pretty easy. We are looking forward to getting re-acclimated to Baton Rouge.

We are relocating!

Although we have enjoyed our time in Houston, the time has come for us to move on. James has accepted a wonderful career opportunity and we will be returning home to Louisiana! Much to the joy of my mother, Autumn Hailey will be much closer. Life is about change and we are jumping in with both feet. So, look out for more updates soon...and of course -- I could not leave you without a picture of the prettiest girl in the world. Here she is with her favorite aunt before church on Sunday. Doesn't she just make your heart melt?

Cutie Pie!

Miss Autumn is growing so quickly. Keeping us running around the house as she quickly gains speed with her crawling. She loves to pull up on everything and will be walking before we know it. I don't know if we are ready yet!

Six and 1/2 months!

All we can say is Autumn! Autumn! Autumn!

Our sweet girl is 14.5 lbs and still growing. She has been scooting around and around. Oh how she wishes she can stand. Her little personality comes out each day and we are loving every bit of it.

When Mommy enters the room, she breaks into the cutest smile. When Daddy returns to the room, she gives him the cutest grin. We all know that she is slowly but surely wrapping each of us around her little pinky. Of course Daddy disagrees and doesn't think he is falling under her spell. ;-)

Crawling Soon....

It is so bittersweet to watch Autumn grow. Our sweet girl will definitely be crawling soon! She loves to "scoot" and rock. I know we will have to get our tennis shoes ready because I know she will keep us running. Just had to share this sweet pic.

We can't get enough of Autumn!

It seems like each time we turn around, Autumn is doing something new. She has so much energy and is truly a little lovebug. Before we know it, she will be crawling. Her little legs are so strong! We are still enjoying our sweet girl.

Autumn loves kisses!

Everyone knows that we can't get enough of Miss Autumn...but now it will be much harder!

Autumn is such a lovable sweetheart and loves to give kisses. It all started about a week and a half ago. We were singing together (I love to make up silly songs for her) and out of the blue *smack!* -- right on the lips. A few days later...again.

Imagine how much I've been smiling. Well, yesterday took the cake. I was taking my "daily" cell phone picture and as I was prepping her to smile. Out of the blue, *smack!* right on the cheek! Only this time, I was able to capture.

Here is another photo I was about to take before we left for a few errands. Isn't she a true cutie?

Five Months Already!

Our sweet girl is five months old today. Where does the time go?
We are truly enjoying every single second as parents and her smile makes us melt.

For the moment, Autumn's favorite things include her hands, oatmeal and her bouncer. She also loves to be outside.







Now that football season is right around the corner, I know that Daddy has big plans for converting Autumn over to a sports fan. Only time will tell if she enjoys it as much as Mommy. ;-)

Autumn's Christening

Starting Solids

Autumn has officially started solids - rice cereal (yummy)!

Her first encouter was successful. Only minimal damage to mommy, her bib and the table. :-)

Thanks to everyone that kept up with us as we prepared for our beautiful baby girl.

It appears that blogging may prove as easier to maintain than the web site we created for Miss Autumn. We are moving over to blogging!
